Mini Biography
The son of well-known blues harmonica player Raful Neal, guitarist Kenny Neal was created in New Orleans, LA, in 1957. Elevated in Baton Rouge, LA, he demonstrated musical talent young, and was presented with his initial harmonica with the renowned Adam Moore (aka Slim Harpo), a pal of his father’s. At age group 13 he was playing in his father’s music group, and four years afterwards he was playing bass in Pal Guy’s music group. While in Toronto, Canada, Kenny and many of his brothers produced the Neal Brothers Music group, playing in the Toronto region before time for the US. In 1987 he released his initial album, “Bio over the Bayou”, on Ruler Snake Information (later on released on Alligator Information as “Big Information from Baton Rouge”). He cut four albums for Alligator between 1989-94. In 1991 he performed in the Broadway musical “Mule Bone tissue”, that he received a Theater Guild Prize for Excellent New Talent. In 1998 he still left Alligator Information for Telarc Information, and by 2001 acquired released three albums on that label. He also documented various other albums for unbiased brands. In 2008 he agreed upon with Blind Pig Information, that he documented two albums over another 2 yrs. In 2015 he agreed upon with Cleopatra Information, launching two albums for this company. He computes of Baton Rouge, and is constantly on the record albums and tour along with his band.
