Pop-folk chorus structured in 1961 by singer/songwriter Randy Sparks, who also served as their initial Music Director. They got their initial big break the next season when Andy Williams initial noticed them and agreed upon them on as regulars on his Television show. A documenting agreement with Columbia information soon implemented, and their many strikes on that label included “Green, Green”, “Sunday Evening”, “Today” and “Chim Chim Cheree”. After departing the Williams present, they remained active for the total amount from the 10 years, documenting prolifically, guesting on lots of the best variety displays of the time, and producing personal appearances. In addition they provided the rating for the 1964 film “Progress to the trunk,” starring Glenn Ford, Stella Stevens and Melvyn Douglas.
