Work von Witzleben was created on August 4, 1916, in Copitz, Germany. He was an associate from the von Witzleben commendable family members and a grand-nephew of Field Marshal Erwin von Witzleben. He became a member of the Nazi Party at 1935, and offered in the Wehrmacht during Globe War II, becoming granted the German Mix in Yellow metal during 1943.
