Alfre Woodard was created about November 8, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the youngest of 3 kids of Constance, a homemaker, and Marion H. Woodard, an inside developer. She was called by her godmother, who stated she noticed a eyesight of Alfre’s name created out in silver letters. A previous senior high school cheerleader and monitor superstar, she got the performing bug after getting persuaded to audition for the college play with a nun at her college. She continued to study performing at Boston School and enjoyed a short stint on Broadway before shifting to LA, California. She got her initial break in Keep in mind My Name (1978) which also starred Jeff Goldblum. She lives in Santa Monica, California with her hubby, article writer Roderick M. Spencer, and their two followed kids: Mavis and Duncan. She was called perhaps one of the most Beautiful People in the usa by People Newspaper.
