Alfred Shelly was created Alfred Irwin Shapiro in Brooklyn in June 6, 1929. He went to senior high school in Venice (CA), before he relocated to Studio Town (CA). In 1978, Al and his wife Lori moved to Big Sur (CA) and continued to are an actor in film and television. He was a normal on ‘Dragnet’, and his credits consist of ‘Adam 12’, ‘Mannix’, ’77 Sunset Remove’, and several, a lot more. He produced his last film, ‘The Gumball Rally’ in 1976. Alfred Shelly was a practiced combat veteran using the 7th Cavalry in Korea, and was awarded many medals for his service. Al spent his last years surviving in Carmel, CA and died in Apr 2013 (aged 83), encircled by friends.
