Andrew Jarecki can be an American filmmaker, musician, and business owner. He is most widely known for the Emmy-winning 2015 HBO documentary series “The Jinx: THE LIFE SPAN and Fatalities of Robert Durst” that resulted in the arrest and imprisonment of Mr. Durst. He’s also known for documentary film “Recording the Friedmans,” which gained eighteen international awards like the Grand Jury Award on the Sundance Film Celebration and the brand new York Film Critics Group award, and was nominated for an Academy Prize. He created the documentary film “Catfish” as well as the eponymous MTV tv series. With JJ Abrams, he co-wrote and performed the theme melody for the WB Network tv series Felicity (1998), and with CrabCorps, he created music for the film “Sterling silver Linings Playbook.” He also co-founded Moviefone and made the KnowMe iOS system. He’s a graduate of Princeton College or university where he was a theatrical movie director. He resides in NEW YORK.
