Of Ukrainian and Indian descent, Andrij studied cinematography at NYU’s Tisch College from the Arts (MFA, 2001) as well as the FAMU film college in Prague. He presently lives and functions in NY, shooting features, advertisements and music movies. In 2004 he was called among Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Encounters of Indie Film”. Lately, he was included as you off Range Magazine’s “Ten Cinematographers to view”.
