At age 6, Anita Gordon and her family moved in 1935 from Texas to Hollywood where she became an effective child star. As an adolescent on network radio, she accomplished singing popularity as a normal on ventriloquist Edgar Bergen’s display (Edgar’s popular dummy Charlie McCarthy allegedly was smitten with her). She was the tone of voice who stated “I don’t speak to strangers..” around the Friend Clark strike “Linda” in 1946, and voiced the area of the Performing Harp who helped Mickey Mouse get away from your Beanstalk Huge with “…in his best vest pocket you will discover an integral…” for Disney in 1947. In the first days of tv, Anita was a normal around the Ken Murray Display, and later on a featured vocalist around the Tennessee Ernie Ford Display on ABC. In 1948, she wedded Dale Sheets, later on an MCA/Common executive, and offered delivery to three ladies.
