Popular Norwegian comic actor, in stage from 1906, the 1st years involved in touring companies.(Alma & Johan Fahlstrøm, and later on with Pehr Qværnstrøm) He became a mainstay in humor, farce, and operetta, from 1913 in Tivoli Theatre in Christiania, (right now Oslo) later in Theatre Moderne, Internet casino Theater, and Talk Noir, also in Christiania. His best portrayal was as “Ko-ko” in: “The Mikado”.(Gilbert & Sullivan) His only film appearance is at a silent comedy in 1922, the film also became an excellent achievement for Mr.Schønemann. 3 years later he passed away at the first age of 34, sadly missed by thousand of fans in Christiania, and elsewhere in Norway.
