Barney McNulty is credited with producing the initial cue cards for the national Television show in 1949. McNulty composed out the initial cue credit cards for The Ed Wynn Present (1949), among the initial national Television shows to originate in Hollywood, while functioning as an usher on the CBS studios in Columbia Square, Hollywood. He continued to create “Ad-Libs”, an organization that created cue credit cards for such performers as Bob Wish, Milton Berle, Lucille Ball, Jack port Benny, Fred Astaire, Orson Welles and many more.
