Boris Livanov was a favorite Russian professional of Moscow Artwork Theatre (MKhAT), most widely known as Pozharsky within the film Minin we Pozharskiy (1939). He was created Boris Nikolaevich Livanov on, may 8, 1904, in Moscow. His parents had been professional actors. There his stage companions had been such renown Russian stars as Konstantin Stanislavski, Ivan Moskvin, Alla Tarasova, Anatoli Ktorov, Olga Androvskaya, Angelina Stepanova, Nikolay Khmelyov, Mikhail Yanshin, Aleksei Gribov, Tag Prudkin, Mikhail Kedrov, Viktor Stanitsyn, Anastasiya Georgiyevskaya, Vasili Toporkov, Mikhail Bolduman, Pavel Massalsky, and another era of MKhAT stars – Oleg Efremov, Kira Golovko, Iya Savvina, Alla Pokrovskaya, Anastasiya Voznesenskaya, Irina Miroshnichenko, Andrey Myagkov, Vladimir Kashpur, Viktor Sergachyov, Vyacheslav Nevinnyy, Stanislav Lyubshin, Sergey Sazontev, Avangard Leontev, Igor Vasilev, among others. Bori Livanov’s performing profession spanned 50 years, and he was an associate of the plank at Moscow Artwork Theatre (MKhAT).
