Mini Biography

Bryn Pryor became a filmmaker at age nine having a stop-motion epic that pitted Micronauts against the neighborhood alien villains in Kenner’s Mos Eisley Cantina playset. Apache Junction, Az was a harmful place to be considered a plaything in 1979. In the intervening decades, Bryn has directed almost everything you can stage a camera at, including four extremely bad motion pictures for Roger Corman’s Concorde/New Horizons Studios, creating utterly forgettable occasions with stars like Eric Roberts and Martin Sheen. His dramatic feature “Texas holdem” won Greatest Drama in the 2000 IFP East film event, and Best Initial Screenplay in the 2001 Angel Town Film Festival. His latest projects are the horror indie “iKllr” (as the Movie director of Photography), collection for theatrical launch in 2015, the steampunk western “Cowboys & Motors,” starring Richard Hatch, Walter Koenig and Malcolm McDowell, and “X-Rated,” Showtime’s in-depth documentary about the best movies to emerge from the adult industry. His current tasks include growing “Cowboys & Motors” right into a complete feature film, completing the follow-up to “X-Rated,” and composing and directing “Diminuendo,” a technology fiction love scheduled to become shot in early 2016.
