Austrian-born Tommy Schobel is usually a multi-faceted composer and musician whose achievements include work for feature films, television, advertisements, and albums. Tommy’s initial successes happened in his homeland of Austria where at age twenty he obtained chart success along with his music group that led him to touring European countries using a multi-platinum documenting musician. After graduating from the School of Applied Arts in Vienna, Tommy became a member of Harald Kloser, with whom he collaborated on the string of significant scores for Western european feature movies and tv series. During this time period he also ventured into songwriting, composing monitors for such documenting performers as Falco, Toots Thielemans, Al Jarreau, and Jose Feliciano. Shifting to LA, Tommy’s knack for catchy music led him to 1 of L.A.’s most important commercial music homes and composing more than 100 advertisements for brands like Adidas, Nike, Hill Dew, Coca Cola, Verizon and Nintendo. Breaking from his personal, Tommy teamed up with famous disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder to create remixes for Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer season and Blondie, aswell as contributing ratings and tunes for tv series and blockbuster films grossing over $2 billion worldwide.
