The child of screenwriter Tom Geraghty and sister of writers Maurice Geraghty and Gerald Geraghty, Carmelita Geraghty was a graduate of Hollywood SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, where she was responsible for the institution calendar. Voted a WAMPAS Baby Celebrity in 1924, she spent the majority of her profession as a respected lady, using Reed Howes and Estelle Taylor’s spouse, former heavyweight champ Jack Dempsey.
