Cecilia Cheung (Cecilia Cheung Pak-Chi) was created in Hong Kong to a Cantonese dad . 5 Cantonese-half British mom. Her parents divorced when she was small and she was delivered to Australia for research. She graduated from RMIT Holmes University. Her career began in 1998, when she was wanted to come in a Television commercial marketing lemon tea. She captured the interest of Stephen Chow after capturing the ad. Afterwards, Cheung produced her film debut as a nightclub hostess in Stephen Chow’s Ruler of Humor (1999), followed immediately after by Journey Me to Polaris (1999). The last mentioned role gained her the award for Greatest Newcomer on the Hong Kong Film Honours. In the same calendar year, Cheung released her singing profession with her initial Cantopop record Any Climate (1999). For Derek Yee’s intimate drama Lost with time (2003), Cheung won the award for Best Actress on the 2004 Hong Kong Film Awards. She performed a young girl who dropped her fiancé to a visitors accident which still left her being a grieving one mother struggling to create ends meet.
