She moved to Spain with her dad and her sibling, Ariel Rot, in 1976 and started acting. Her initial major role is at Iván Zulueta’s Arrebato (1979). After showing up in Pedro Almodóvar’s debut feature _Pepi, Luci, Bom con otras chicas del montón (1980)_ she held dealing with him in Labyrinth of Enthusiasm (1982), Dark Habits (1983) and What Possess I Done to Deserve This? (1984). In 1995 she shifted back again to Argentina and became a nationwide film, stage and Television star. Besides showing up in the U.S. co-produced thriller The Stranger (1987), she mainly starred in Argentine movies including A LOCATION in the Globe (1992), strike detective theatre Ashes of Heaven (1997) and family members theatre Martín (Hache) (1997), which gained her a Goya Honor. She teamed up with Almodóvar once again starring in every About My Mom (1999).
