Garcia is among the most exciting article writer/directors from Mexico. In 2015 he released his feature film debut The Thin Yellowish Collection. The film starred stars Damian Alcazar and Joaquín Cosio and was made by superstar movie director Guillermo del Toro. To day, The Thin Yellow Collection continues to be screened at 39 film celebrations and has received 21 international honours, including the Target audience Honor and the Unique Jury Prize in the Guadalajara International Film Event in 2015 as well as the Grand Newcomer Honor in the Mannheim-Heidelberg FilmFest 2015. The film will become released in theaters in Mexico July 2016. Presently, Garcia is preparing his second feature film Velvet, a Mexico-US production. The film was announced in Range Magazine like a “What’s Following” feature. In 2004 Garcia released his forth brief film Pata de Gallo that was an award winning task from the IMCINE’s Third Country wide Short film Task Competition and was screened at 16 worldwide Film festivals. Water and Dairy (2006), was his fifth brief film and was an honor winning project from the IMCINE Fifth Country wide Short film Task Competition. Drinking water and Dairy was also granted the Country wide Screenplay Award with the Mexico’s General Culture of Authors (SOGEM). The brief film was screened at 46 film celebrations and earned 22 international honours, like the Mayahuel on the Guadalajara International Film Celebration and the very best Brief film Award at Celebration Internacional of Huelva, Spain. Garcia is creating a long type television task that he’ll write and direct.
