“Chantal Riviere” was a pseudonym adopted by Chantal Truck Melkebeke when she was co-producer from the film “Tintin et le mystère de la Toison d’Or”. Her dad, Jacques Truck Melkebeke, a painter, journalist and comic script article writer, had served amount of time in jail for doing work for a collaborationist Belgian paper during World Battle Two. He previously once been a good friend and collaborator of Hergé, the originator of Tintin. Chantal followed the pseudonym to avoid any embarrassment. It was even though at the seaside that she spotted Jean-Pierre Talbot and got him the section of Tintin.
