Songwriter (“Messin’ Around”, “Woman from the Golden West”), composer, arranger and RKO professional, educated in the Chicago Music University (BA, MM, Mus.D.)and students of Felix Borowski and Louis Victor Saar. He was an employee composer with Detroit posting companies, and led his personal orchestra in Chicago, and later on an employee composer with Radio Town Music Hall. He organized the Broadway musicals “Sizzling Mikado”, “Cabin in the Sky”, “Boy s o’ Fun”, “Banjo Eye”, “Sadie Thompson”, and “Adhere to girls”. Becoming a member of ASCAP in 1940, his additional popular-song compositions consist of “I Question Where My Caring Man IS FULLY GONE”, “Blame It within the Blues”, “Sing Music Golf swing”, “Drummer’s State”, “Lovin’ You just how I REALLY DO”, and “Goodbye Fairly Butterflies”.
