Noted for his bravura performances, Charles Adam Shavers is appreciated among the most talented and energetic trumpet virtuosos from the big group era. He previously music in his bloodstream. Charlie started on banjo and piano before getting persuaded to change to trumpet. In 1944, Charlie still left Kirby and worked for the spell being a session musician with Raymond Scott’s orchestra at CBS.
