Roger Watkins was created on Sept 17, 1948 in Binghamton, NY. The kid of Leland and Elizabeth Watkins, Roger initial started making films at age ten. Watkins went to the liberal arts university the State School of NY in Oneonta, NY and continued to create movies whenever he could. Noted SUNY teacher and writer Paul M. Jensen made an appearance in lots of of Roger’s university shorts such as an adaptation from the traditional EC Comics killer Santa Claus tale “And THROUGH the home.” In 1972 Watkins began focus on his 1st feature THE FINAL House on Deceased End Road (1977) , that was shot on 16mm film stock options with talent gleaned from SUNY’s film and theater departments.
