Claudia Cifuentes is a fresh York-based writer, movie director and manufacturer of Guatemalan descent. A graduate of NYU’s esteemed film plan, she started her profession in LA as an apprentice to acclaimed movie director Michael Mann, the originator behind such strikes as Miami Vice and High temperature. Motivated by his auteur-style of filmmaking, she ultimately moved back again to NY to hone her own private composing and directing design. She’s since created numerous music movies, advertisements and short-format movies including Rivington Children, some shorts developed through the IFP and recognized for accurately capturing the zeitgeist of twenty-somethings in NY. Determined to keep her quest of earning personal, high-integrity motion pictures for the people, she recently finished production on her behalf initial feature film, Following the Wedding (2013).
