Drummer Clem Burke was created Clement Anthony Bozewski on November 24, 1954 in Bayonne, NJ. Burke initial became mixed up in rock music picture after he fulfilled guitarist Steve Jones at different rock and roll hangouts in London, Britain in the middle 70s. In 1975 Clem became a member of the hugely well-known, successful, and latest Wave rock and roll group Blondie and continued to be a member from the music group until Blondie split up in the first 80s. He afterwards performed an instrumental component in the past due 90s reunion of Blondie. Burke was the drummer for the group Chequered History from 1982 to 1984. Furthermore, Clem was the drummer for the Eurythmics through the entire 80s; he’s highlighted on three albums with the Eurythmics and made an appearance within the music group at the Totally free Nelson Mandela concert in 1988. Among the various other artists Burke spent some time working with through the entire years are Pete Townsend, Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Joan Jett, the Romantics, Wanda Jackson, Johnny Thunders, the Plimsouls, and Dramarama. In 1987 Clem performed two concert gigs for the Ramones. He toured and documented with Nancy Sinatra from 2004 to 2005. Furthermore, Burke also performed drums on Kathy Valentine’s debut single recording “Light Years” in 2005. In 2006 he was inducted in to the Stone Hall of Popularity combined with the rest of Blondie. Recently Clem has performed drums for the organizations Slinky Vagabond, Magic Christian, as well as the Hugh Cornwell Music group.
