Writer/movie director/maker Danny Steinmann was the boy of noted East Coastline artwork collector Herbert R. Steinmann. Danny produced his debut as both article writer and director using the funky hardcore porno picture Large Rise (1973), which he utilized the alias Danny Rock. Steinmann was a creation associate on Arthur Hiller’s THE PERSON in the Cup Booth (1975) and offered as a co-employee producer for the offbeat Gene Roddenberry made-for-TV supernatural fright feature Spectre (1977).
