David “Chico” Ryan was created in Arlington, Massachusetts and visited Arlington SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. He became a member of Sha Na Na like a bass participant and vocalist. Sha Na Na gained international popularity if they performed at Woodstock ’69. Another alum of Arlington SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL performed at Woodstock ’69, Alan “Blind Owl” Wilson, guitarist and co-founder of “Canned Warmth.” Although, Ryan didn’t sign up for the music group until 1973. Ryan also is at the film “Grease” taking part in the part (with Sha Na Na) of Johnny Internet casino and the Bettors. Before becoming a member of Sha Na Na, he is at a music group from NJ known as the Happenings who obtained strikes with “Observe you in Sept” in ’66 and “I acquired tempo” in ’67. He died in Beverly, Massachusetts in age 50.
