Went to film school at Columbia College, Hollywood and graduated in 1985. Began working instantly out of college as another associate cameraman on low quality features. Worked mainly because a second AC for nearly two years just before upgrading to first associate cameraman. Is constantly on the are a 1st AC but mainly functions as a camcorder operator. Offers taught cinematography and camcorder assistant workshops through the entire U.S., including Columbia University, Hollywood from 1988-1996 and offered as Chief executive of the faculty from 1994-1995. Presently a member from the cinematography faculty in the College or university of NEW YORK School from the Arts College of Filmmaking in Winston-Salem, NC. Active person in the Society of Camera Providers and the Worldwide Cinematographers Guild Regional 600. Writer of The Camcorder Assistant’s Manual, 6th Edition, released by Focal Press.
