Hicks, a local of Philadelphia, continues to be doing work for The Nashville Shakespeare Celebration since 1990 seeing that an actor, movie director, teaching musician, and provides held the positioning of Artistic Movie director since 2005. Educated at Stage Park School in Pittsburgh, she transferred to Nashville in 1980 to execute at Opryland. Denice was a genuine company person in the Tennessee Repertory Theater, and was among the founders of both Darkhorse Movie theater and of People’s Branch Theater. An Ingram Fellowship prize champion, and advocate for Arts in Education, she’s edited and aimed touring productions of Shakespeare’s functions, created and facilitated workshops for learners of all age range and designed and applied the NSF Apprentice Firm Schooling and Shakespeare Allowed! coding.
