Composer (“In the Disposition”, “Step Frog”), songwriter, arranger and saxophonist, educated in Shaw School, the Aeolian Conservatory, and the brand new York College of Portraiture and Business Picture taking. He was an associate from the Cosmopolitan Brass Music group in Baltimore between 1920-1922, as well as the Excelsior Armed forces Music group in Norfolk, Virginia between 1922 and 1929. He was a saxophonist and arranger with Louis Armstrong, and in addition performed with little groups.
