Derrick grew up in Michigan and caught the performing insect after moving to Indiana in 1989. He spent his junior calendar year of college overseas in Strasbourg, France, and spent another several years building his root base and surviving in other European metropolitan areas as Paris and Graz (Austria). His love of acting blossomed in Paris, where he got his professional nod co-starring in “Napoleon” with France celebrity Christian Clavier. Just a few a few months later, Derrick arrived his first helping role being a CGI personality called Jonas in Enki Bilal’s science-fiction feature “Immortal Advertisement Vitam”. He also garnered amazing stage credits in Paris, executing in Edward Albee’s “Everything within the Garden” on the Espace Pierre Cardin as well as the lead within an first play known as “AN ALTERNATIVE Day” on the Galerie de Nestle Theater.
