Mini Biography

Dora Keresztes finished her research at the Reserve Design Department from the Hungarian School of Arts and Style in Budapest in 1977. She began her career being a reserve designer, generally for kids and modern Hungarian literature. Afterwards, she got thinking about film and theater posters and became the artwork director and visual developer of ‘Muses’ (Múzsák) Cultural Newspaper in Budapest. She was also the vice leader of the Culture of Hungarian Illustrators and was the first choice of many workshops for kids – amongst others in the Hungarian Country wide Gallery. Currently she functions as a freelance developer in her personal design studio room. Besides her style activity, she actually is an independent good artist, stage developer and movie director of independent cartoon short movies. Her works have already been demonstrated in exhibitions, biennials and film celebrations both in Hungary and overseas.
