English actor / author / producer E. Gordon Craig was created in Britain on January 16, 1872. He was the child of famous stage celebrity Ellen Terry (another theatrical story, Henry Irving, was his godfather). He produced his stage debut at age group six in “Olivia”, which starred his mom, so when the family members traveled to the united states in 1885, he made an appearance in one of his mother’s takes on, “Eugene Aram”, in Chicago. He previously a reliable, if unspectacular, profession on stage, nonetheless it wasn’t his glass of tea and he quit performing in 1897 for any profession as an writer and set developer. In 1903 he remaining Britain for Italy, where he founded the institution for the Artwork of the Theatre in Florence.
