Son of article writer Fernando Aguilar and musician Blanca Aguilar, Hernan started his professional profession in the entertainment sector when, at age 10, he performed in the historical Digestive tract Theatre of Buenos Aires inside a Uk production from the opera Peter Grimes by Benjamin Britten. After completing the St. Andrew’s Scotts College, he analyzed Business Administration in the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Concurrently he analyzed theater performing and directing with Martin Blanco for six years. Hernan acted in at least ten nationwide TV commercial, performed the saxophone, and was business lead singer inside a rock-band before he proceeded to go into film college. It had been in famous movie director Eliseo Subiela’s film college where he found out his strongest enthusiasm: directing movies. After film school he caused producer Pablo Rovito, and founded a production company and a dot-com with Sebastian Puenzo. After producing video-clips, producing ofs, castings, corporate and business videos, advertisements and directing 8 brief films, he relocated to Hollywood, California. In LA, he analyzed Screenwriting and Cinematography at UCLA, directed TV advertisements and music videos, edited feature motion pictures, worked well as cinematographer in 35mm, 16mm, and HD formats, got hired to create feature screenplays, and edited the movie “7 dias” that received Best Picture in the Mexican Press Awards, and that he was nominated for any Silver Ariel in the category Best Editing and enhancing in the Mexican Academy Awards.
