The ’60s music group Electric Flag was formed by musician Mike Bloomfieldm who wished to blend together blues, jazz and rock. He began the music group in 1967 in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA after he still left the Paul Butterfield Blues Music group. Electric Flag produced its debut on the Monterey Pop Celebration in 1967. They released their critically acclaimed initial record, “QUITE A WHILE Comin'”, in 1968.
