Carol formed the pop/rock and roll music group, T’Pau, in 1986 with guitarist/co-songwriter Ron Rogers. Their debut record “Bridge of Spies”, released in 1987, spawned six strike singles (like the #1 smash “China In Your Hands”) and marketed over 1.2 million copies in the united kingdom alone, heading quadruple platinum. Two even more albums – “Trend” and “The Guarantee” followed prior to the band split in 1991. Carol slipped from the music picture for a couple of years, just sometimes guesting on various other artist’s albums. During this time period (around 1993), she fulfilled her husband to become, Richard Coates. After that in 1997, she made a decision to resurrect T’Pau with a fresh lineup. They toured in the summertime of that season and encouraged with the response, began recording a fresh record. In June 1998, Carol provided delivery to her 1st kid. Ever the trooper, she were able to reappear simply three weeks later on to perform in the Princess Diana Tribute Concert.
