A local of Des Moines, Iowa, Fanchon Royer attended college there and in Minneapolis and Chicago. She inserted images via the “extra female” path in 1916. She became editor from the trade mag “Camcorder” before her 18th birthday and, for quite some time, did promotion and stars’ administration. She created her initial film in 1928, “Life’s LIKE THIS”.
