Fritz Imhoff, given birth to seeing that Friedrich Jeschke, studied in business university before taking singing and artwork courses. Being a vocalist, he made an appearance in 1912 in the Stadttheater bei Wien. From 1920 to 1928, he performed at Wiener Johann-Strauss-Theater; after that six years in the Theatre an der Wien, and from 1934 till 1938, in the Volksoper and in Cabarets and Varietés. In 1939 to 1944, he performed in the Raimund-Theater and worked well also there as the movie director till 1948. He began silent films in 1929 and made a lot more than 100 films during his existence. He had great parts in every of his Movies, however, many of his funny were in the past in Die Fiakermilli (1953), 1. Apr 2000 (1952), Schwarz auf weiß (1943) (“Dark on White colored”), Reisebekanntschaft (1943) (“Trip Acquaintance”), Wen die Götter lieben (1942) (“Whom the Gods Like”) and Resort Sacher (1939).
