She began acting in theater productions at a age. Her initial film is at 1906 for “Cines” of Rome, in what’s considered the initial film version of Shakespeare’s “Otello”, aimed by Mario Caserini, her hubby. She was the interpreter of “Romeo e Giulietta” in 1908 and in various other thirteen movies until 1909. Among these movies was “Macbeth”, directed by her hubby. From 1910 to 1927 she starred in 65 movies, many of that are generally aimed by her hubby, as “Lucrezia Borgia”, whose interpretation gave her even more notoriety. Filming theatrical activity soon after departing the film profession.
