In 1922, Georgia received a beauty contest and visited New York to obtain a job in the theater. Unsuccessful, she still left NY for Hollywood where she proved helpful being a little bit participant in a few films. Georgia’s initial break emerged when she was employed for the film The Salvation Hunters (1925). It had been out of this picture that Charlie Chaplin employed her to try out the Georgia, the dance-hall lady who wins Charlie’s center, in The Platinum Hurry (1925). With an extremely effective film, Georgia became an instantaneous superstar and was authorized by Paramount Photos. Her big film with Paramount was THE FANTASTIC Gatsby (1926) where she performed the part of Myrtle Wilson. But her profession never proceeded to go anywhere and her last picture will be the silent film THE FINAL Instant (1928). Deemed unsuitable for talkies, she was among the first to become released.
