Award-winning article writer/director Georgia Lee offers directed five brief films. Her 1st two pants, “THE BEST Dish: Tiananmen ’89” (B&W, 16 mm 1998), and “Bloom” (Color, 16 mm, 1999), show at several film celebrations. “Bloom” was also obtained and broadcast by PBS within the Reel NY series. In 2000 she was chosen by movie director Martin Scorsese to serve as his apprentice around the group of “Gangs of NY” in Rome. Her brief film “Educated” (Color, 35mm, 2002) screened in over 30 celebrations all over the world and received the “Greatest Short Film” honor in the Durango Film Event in 2003. “Educated” was also certified by PBS for air flow in the summertime of 2004. In 2004, Georgia finished two more brief films, “Fundamental Feelings” and “Analysis”. An early on draft of “Crimson Doorways”, Georgia’s first feature film, received the Jerome Basis New York Press Arts Offer Award. She was also honored a Film Fellowship from the brand new York Base for the Arts in 2003. Ahead of learning to be a filmmaker, she proved helpful for the administration consulting company McKinsey & Business and graduated cum laude using a bachelor’s level in Biochemistry from Harvard College or university.
