Gilbert was created in London in 1970 of New Zealand parents. Her dad, Stephen Gilbert, is usually a reknown cosmetic surgeon, while her mom, Margaret, is usually a Movie director of an effective medical organization. During her early years GG travelled the globe with her parents as her dad sought medical teaching. While surviving in Louisville, Kentucky, the Gilbert family members was lucky to survive unharmed after their car was strike by a pickup truck from behind, shunted on the median hurdle across several occupied motorway lanes before moving down a lender. Luckily nobody was permanently hurt. At age 9 GG relocated with her family members back again to New Zealand. She went to St Cuthberts and King’s University, often displaying the type of plucky courage she’d have to be linked with a piano and tossed off a canoe. Her big break arrived when the suppliers from the Piano found New Zealand and wanted people who have Holly Hunter’s build who experienced a diving certificate. GG experienced just finished her diving program and lept at the opportunity. The rest as the saying goes is history. She actually is the sister of screenplay article writer James Gilbert.
