Gillian co-founded Sigma Movies in 1996 with director David Mackenzie. Collectively they made many award winning pants before getting into their features; Last Great Wilderness, Hallam Foe, You Rather aka Tonight You’re Mine, SENSE and Starred Up. During this time period Gillian also worked well as Casting Movie director with Ken Loach on I am Joe and Lynne Ramsay on Ratcatcher.
