Glenn Morris was the 4th Olympic athlete to try out Tarzan. He was the 1936 decathlon champ and earned the Sullivan Honor (exceptional amateur athlete of the entire year) on the even more popular Olympian Jesse Owens. Sol Reduced solid Morris for an unbiased Tarzan, filmed on Twentieth Century-Fox back again lots. The critiques were so completely poor that Morris under no circumstances made another film. He went in to the insurance business in LA. He enlisted in the Navy after Pearl Harbor, was wounded in fight that he spent enough time in San Francisco’s Navy Medical center.
