Gordon Currie was an Australian columnist/musician who migrated to the united states in 1950 and worked being a reporter in tv, radio and papers before mid 2000s, notably for the LA Mirror, the FILM Herald, the Hollywood Reporter, the Melbourne Age group, the Sydney Morning hours Herald, amongst others. He also was commissioned by main studios (MGM, 20th Hundred years Fox, etc.) for caricature tasks for studio artwork. Through the entire 1950s, he journeyed the US along with his gallery of family portrait caricatures from the popular of the time, mostly used person. Every chief executive from Harry Truman through Richard Nixon experienced sat for him at onetime or another (Ronald Reagan aswell when he was governor), and countless additional actors and significant numbers. His portraits from the Beatles are actually considered collectors products and reproductions of the portraits are bought and offered even today.
