Hanelle M. Culpepper can be an award-winning article writer/director located in LA, where she operates her personal production organization, Hillview 798 Productions. Her filmmaking profession started when she was chosen for Expenses and Camille Cosby’s screenwriting system for African-American authors. Through this program, Hanelle published the screenplay Miss Ella, that was influenced by true occasions encircling Hanelle’s great grandmother Ella and her used sister Rose. This story of two sisters whose intertwining lives result in tragedy was a semi-finalist in the Chesterfield Screenplay competition and gained Hanelle a location in the IFP/western Screenwriters Lab. Hanelle was luckily enough to utilize Khouri on her behalf directorial debut, Warner Bros.’ Divine Secrets from the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002).
