Probably one of the most influential Turkish authors in the 20th hundred years, given birth to in Manisa, 1922. Influenced by the task of William Faulkner, actually burn a finished novel due to it’s resemblance to Faulkner’s design. Accused with “communist actions” and sentenced for ten weeks. “Aylak Adam” and “Anayurt Oteli” are his most widely known books. He also worked well as translator, redactor and specialist; died due to an coronary attack in Istanbul at age 68.
