Henry Victor was created on Oct 2, 1892 in Britain, but grew up in Germany. He started his film profession in 1914, ultimately playing network marketing leads in literary adaptations from the Family portrait of Dorian Grey and H. Rider Haggard’s She, both in 1916. When talkies made an appearance in the past due 1920’s, Victor’s dense Teutonic highlight was a detriment as a respected guy in Hollywood, but he appreciated a substantial profession as a personality professional in American and United kingdom films, focusing on brutish Nazis during Globe War II. He’s probably best remembered for his portrayal from the sadistic strongman Hercules in Tod Browning’s Freaks in 1932, a job that was originally considered for Victor McLaglan, whom Browning had caused previously, along with Harry Earles, in The Unholy 3 (1930).
