Hisashi Shimonaga was among the Toho Studios’ most accomplished and important professionals of audio. Though many Japanese films had been filmed without audio, then dubbed following the truth, Shimonaga was mostly of the who specialised in documenting live audio, and editing it towards the shows on display.
