Harold Everett Porter, who often wrote beneath the pen name Holworthy Hall, was a once well-known writer of light fiction. He was, in the elevation of his recognition, a regular contributor of brief tales and serials towards the Sunday Evening Post, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s, American Publication and Colliers. Porter was the child of NY publisher, Albert de Lance Porter. His mom, the previous Louella Root, was created in Ohio and elevated in Massachusetts. She was the child of the minister who experienced offered as an official using the Union military through the American Civil Battle.
