As a kid, Ian Thorpe grew sick and tired of viewing his older sister, Christina, swim in contests. He made a decision to consider up swimming in order that he would not really be fed up. But Ian, who later become one of the biggest swimmers the globe offers ever known, needed to first overcome an allergy to chlorine. By age 11, Ian experienced outgrown the allergy. At 14, Ian produced history by getting the youngest man to ever make the Australian Mens’ swim group. At 17, Ian was chosen for the Australian Mens’ Olympic swim group. He became the hero from the Video games for Australia, and was actually asked to transport the flag through the Shutting Ceremony. Ian offers since hosted his personal Television show, Undercover Angels (2002) and designed a type of jewelry with Autore South Ocean Pearls. He’s also the co-founder of “Ian Thorpe’s Basis For Youngsters Trust,” a charity that benefits the treating kids with life-threatening ailments. Currently, Ian says that his programs are to swim before 2008 Olympics, but he provides that he’ll stop going swimming when he ceases to take pleasure from it.
