Irving Allen began his film job in 1929 as an editor. He considered directing in the 1940s, and two pants he directed, 40 Children and a Melody (1941) and Climbing the Matterhorn (1947), gained Academy Honours. His feature film result, however, had not been particularly effective, and in the 1950s he and manufacturer Albert R. Broccoli produced Warwick Films in the uk to produce movies there.
